In the past, the idea of being "woo woo" wasn't always a good thing. In fact, if you google the definition, you'll find the following:
"DEROGATORY•INFORMAL"
"unconventional beliefs, regarded as having little or no scientific basis, especially those relating to spirituality, mysticism, or alternative medicine."
As of late, it's being embraced, by many, as a way to get back to basics and learn from the "old ways" of doing things.
I'm not an advocate for telling people how to live their lives. I think that people should be able to make educated choices based on what works best for them and their family. In this blog space, I will add the things that work best for my family, and if you happen to be like-minded and looking for solutions to everyday issues or ways to accomplish your goals, then I would love to hear from you and see how my systems work for you.
I am all about the balance between modern science and simple lessons from the past. I'm a DIYer at heart and I've picked up my fair share of depression-era hobbies. I'm building up my own homestead, I've made some zero waste changes, and I love to create systems of organization, but I will never tell you that my way is 100% right or that something else wouldn't work just as well. I will give you the info to decide whether or not it is something that you want to do, and leave it at that.
I will pretty much always include plans for how I did what I did, a downloadable project, and from time to time, the newest e-book, how-to guide, or fully published book (#goals) for your use.
What I hope at the end of the day is that somewhere along the lines, you find something valuable from my page and that it helps you reduce some clutter, simplify a system, or make a change you are proud of.
